New Looks
It's been awhile since I've updated. Just left Hawaii. Maybe for good. Maybe not. Brought all my stuff from the last two years of my life there with me in two suitcases. Left some things behind for friends. Left some friends behind, but I'll see them again. The news for diaryland said their site had a whole new look, but I'm not noticing much of a new look... Been working on a freelance print production job that's about done now. It's hideous. Clients should not be the art directors. It's a terrible choice. I didn't get all that design training to be told to use bright red and yellow with pastel green, purple and sky blue, not to mention the ill-shapen font and poorly composed illustrations. It's my bread and butter at this point, though. I know it's not forever. I've never had a freelance project this simplistic and frustrating. I guess I had to vent somewhere.
